Gemma trained at The William Esper Studio in New York under Bill and Suzanne Esper.
She appeared in the BAFTA winning ITV drama The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, written by Peter Morgan and directed by Roger Michell and in Teatro Inestable / Red Sky Theatre's 'A VECES / SOMETIMES' in Valencia, Spain (inspired by Will Ferrell's brilliant turn in 'Casa De Mi Padre', she learned Spanish for the role!)
Other theatre work includes Rosalind in AS YOU LIKE IT at The RSC's Dell and Katerina in A WOMAN MOV'D at COLSTON HALL both for RippedScript, a rehearsed reading of Robin Mukherjee's SILENCE IN THE STUDIO at The THEATRE ROYAL BATH'S Ustinov Studio, Theatre Uncut at The BRISTOL OLD VIC and THE CHAINMAKERS' STRIKE at THE RIVERSIDE STUDIOS with And Then We Danced.
Gemma is a founding member of Akrasia Productions with fellow actor Ella Gonzales and an associate artist for Hecate Theatre Company with whom she has twice performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
